The biddies take a break from Europe and head back down to South America where they focus on another country built on French varietals - Chile. Like Argentina with Malbec, Chile has become world renowned for focusing on lesser Bordeaux varietals (i.e. Carmenere) and truly making them their own. The biddies were lucky enough to locate some wines made by more unique grapes - Pais and Sauvignon Gris - to introduce this long, skinny country and how beautiful and inexpensive it’s wines can be.
